This handmade pen is made from Mexican Ipe. This piece of wood shows some “curly” wood in the grain. Curly wood is characterized by swirly grain. It occurs when stress is place on the tree while the tree is still growing.

The hardware for this pen is the Gatsby twist pen, with a truly unique twist mechanism that has the end cap of the pen twist. The 24 kt gold hardware is plated in a premium rack plating process to make a bright, shiny coating for life.
